I just saw this on the History Channel about "The Year 1934" as shown through newsreel clips. I was drawn to this clip because it was such a better quality of film (well preserved), edited to tell a story and I had never heard of the event. As I was watching this "Double Killing", I noticed Louis Barthou walking in the crowd (looking healthy enough) AFTER the shooting. I then did really quick internet check to find out(after bullet forensics) he was shot by a French Policeman(Friendly Fire) and bled to death from an arm wound in which a tourniquet was improperly applied. The "Cameraman" died 4 days later.
